2017 Chevrolet Sonic: The Chevrolet Sonic is refreshed for 2017. This sub-compact car competes with vehicles like the Ford Fiesta and Honda Fit and is available in hatchback or sedan trim. It can seat five passengers. For 2017, it receives new connectivity features to go along with its updated styling.
The standard engine is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder. Optional is a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder. Both engines make 138 horsepower and mate to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The Sonic is front-wheel drive.
The sedan is offered in LS, LT and Premium trims while the hatchback is called the RS model and available in LT and Premium trims. An RS Package is available on the sedan.
