2017 Chevrolet Impala

2017 Chevrolet Impala: The 2017 Chevrolet Impala is a large sedan that competes with the Ford Taurus, Nissan Maxima, and Toyota Avalon. For 2017 it carries forward with minor changes.

The Impala is powered by one of three engines: A 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 196 horsepower, a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 305 horsepower, and a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 260 horsepower (flex-fuel vehicle that can run on gasoline or compressed natural gas). All mate to a six-speed automatic transmission and EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 22 mpg city/30 mpg highway for the four-cylinder, 18/28 for the V6 and 17/25 (16/24 on CNG) for the flex-fuel V6. The Impala is front-wheel drive.

Significant available features include in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, satellite radio, USB, infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, leather seats, heated steering wheel, and heated and cooled front seats.

Available safety features include front- and rear-parking sensors, forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear-view camera, anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control, and dual-front, front-side, front-knee and side-curtain airbags.
