2017 Chevrolet Colorado: The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado is a mid-size pickup truck that competes with the Honda Ridgeline, Nissan Frontier, and Toyota Tacoma. It adds a new V6 engine option and eight-speed automatic transmission for this year. It's available in extended-cab or crew-cab models, with two-wheel or four-wheel drive. A ZR2 model that's meant for stronger off-road performance is added.
The new 3.6-liter V6 makes 308 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel that makes 181 horsepower and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 200 horsepower remain available, as do six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
Available features include locking tailgate, USB port, in-car wireless, infotainment system, cruise control, Apple CarPlay, and heated front seats.
Available safety features include rear-view camera, stability control, lane-departure warning, forward-collision alert, and dual-front, front-side and side-impact airbags.
