2017 BUICK LACROSSE: Make sure to stop in the Buick exhibit at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show to be among the first to see the all-new 2017 Buick LaCrosse four-door sedan, which goes on sale in summer 2016. Under the hood is the second-generation 3.6-liter V-6 engine with direct injection and dual overhead, active fuel management and stop/start technology. The engine produces 305-horsepower and matched with a new eight-speed automatic transmission. Best of all, the ’17 LaCrosse can be order with front drive or all-wheel drive configurations. You’ll spot the new LaCrosse at the show by its dramatic stage presence, with front wheels pulled forward; the wheelbase stretched 2.7-ins.and lowered roofline. It’s also is 300-lbs lighter. Classic car lovers take note of the modern reinterpretation of Buicks signature sweep spear body-side element that enhances the car’s sculpture. For 2017, the LaCrosse includes active grille shutters, which open and close automatically to control airflow, reducing aerodynamic drag and improving fuel efficiency. The luxurious, relaxing, five-passenger interior is offered in Jet Black, Dark Atmosphere, and Shale, and Jet Black and Brandy color combinations. Additional LaCrosse tech highlights are head-up display, electronic precision shift, wireless charging, teen driver technology, and configurable, high-definition driver info center. All models feature the capless fuel filler, and the dynamic sweep of the decklid acts as a spoiler while deflectors in front of the tires help reduce drag. The easier access trunk offers up 14.2-c u.ft. of storage space, which is seven percent more than the previous model. That’s large enough for four golf bags.
