2017 BMW 6 Series: The 2017 BMW 6 Series is available as a two-door coupe or convertible and four-door Gran Coupe. The 6 Series competes with the Audi A5/S5 and the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class.
Wireless charging and a Wi-Fi hotspot are now standard, as is the newest version of BMW's iDrive infotainment system.
Under the hood is either a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine (640i and 640i xDrive models) or a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 (605i and 650i xDrive models). The 6 Series is available with either rear- or all-wheel drive. Power gets to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission, and an Alpina high-performance version is available. Fuel economy for the base 640i is EPA-rated at 21 mpg city/30 mpg highway.
Available features include stability control, traction control, Bluetooth, satellite radio, dynamic cruise control, navigation system, infotainment system, USB port, wireless charging, moonroof and keyless entry and starting.
