2017 BMW 3-Series: The 2017 BMW 3-Series is a luxury sports sedan that competes with the Audi A4, Lexus IS, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. For 2017, it receives new engines, new trim names and new features. A wagon version is available.
Available engines include a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower, a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel four-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower, a 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 248 horsepower, and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder that makes 320 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid that makes 247 total remains available, and the M performance version carries over unchanged with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder that makes 425 horsepower. Available transmissions include six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic. The 3-Series is offered with rear- or all-wheel drive.
Available features include heated front seats, navigation, in-car Wi-Fi hot spot, Apple CarPlay, satellite radio, premium audio, USB, and active cruise control.
Available safety features include 360-degree camera, stability control, traction control, and dual-front, front-side and front-knee airbags.
The 2017 BMW 3-Series has a base price of $33,450.
