2017 Audi A6: The 2017 Audi A6 - along with the S6 and 3.0T competition variants - is a premium mid-size sedan that competes in a crowded field that includes the BMW 5-Series, Cadillac CTS, Jaguar XF, Lexus GS, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and Volvo S90. For 2017, the A6 receives a slew of updated standard and available features.
There are several engine choices: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 252 horsepower and mates to either a seven-speed automatic transmission (when equipped with front-wheel drive) or an eight-speed automatic transmission (when equipped with all-wheel drive), a 3.0-liter supercharged, 333-horsepower V6 that mates to an eight-speed automatic, a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that makes 340 horsepower and mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission (competition model) or a 4.0-liter turbocharged, 450-horsepower V8 in the S6 model. All but the base model are standard with all-wheel drive. Front-wheel drive A6s are EPA-rated at 24 mpg city/34 mpg highway, while those with all-wheel drive are rated at 22/31 for the four-cylinder and 21/29 for the V6.
Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, keyless entry and starting, rearview camera, lane-change assist, head-up display, navigation system (available with Google Earth), two USB ports, Bluetooth, satellite radio and night-vision assist.
Base price for the 2017 Audi A6 is $47,600, not including a $950 destination fee.
