2016 Volkswagen CC

2016 VOLKSWAGEN CC: As a style leader with its sweeping roofline and low-to-the-ground stance, the 2016 Volkswagen CC sedan is offered in 2.0T Trend, 2.0T Sport, 2.0T R-Line, 2.0T R-Line Executive, 2.0T R-Line Executive w/Carbon and 3.6L VR6 4Motion Executive. There are two powertrain offerings. The 200-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine is mated with either a six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission driving the front wheels. When selecting the 3.6LVR6 package, you're upgraded to 280-hp, standard all-wheel drive and a driver-focused six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with Tiptronic shifting and paddle shifters. A subtle rear lip on the trunk lid improves air flow, and available driver assistance features now include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking and lane departure warning. New MIB II infotainment system has USB connectivity and smartphone integration with VW Car-Net app connect technology. Car-Net app for Apple Watch will allow VW customers to control a host of features and functions available through the iPhone app and customer web portal, directly from their wrist. Apple Watch wearers can keep an eye on their vehicle from afar, remotely locking and unlocking doors and viewing the status of doors, windows and sunroof (open or closed). A variety of options are available for the CC, such as Dynaudio premium sound system, with 10-speakers (four tweeters, two midranges, four woofers) powered by a 600-watt amplifier; a navigation system that contains a 6.5-inch color touch screen and rearview camera display. Each CC model incorporates four individual, sports-style bucket seats and a trunk that hold 13.2 cu. ft. of luggage. On top of that, the rear seatback is split 60/40 and folds forward to connect the trunk to the cabin to increase load space.
