2016 MINI PACEMAN: Mini has made some subtle refinements to the 2016 Mini Paceman. As the brand's premium small car, the Packman features two doors and a large tailgate and is offered in Cooper Paceman, Cooper S Paceman and Cooper S Paceman ALL 4 and the Cooper JWC. All variants are powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that delivers 121-horsepower to the Cooper Paceman, while the twin-scroll turbocharger and direct injection version on the Cooper S Paceman and Cooper S Paceman All4 with all-wheel drive generate 181-hp while the Cooper JWC pumps out a healthy 208-hp. Engines can be matched with a six-speed manual gearbox or optional six-speed Aisin automatic transmission that includes shift paddles attached to the steering wheel. At last year's Chicago Auto Show, many attendees commented on the tasteful styling of the sloped aerodynamic roof and a wider rear quarter. The 2+2 cabin seating can be reconfigured to a respectable 38.1 cubic feet of cargo room when rear seatbacks are folded down. The Paceman becomes the seventh model in the Mini family; the second to offer ALL4 all-wheel drive, and the first in the line-up to be identified by a rear nameplate. Eight exterior paint shades are available including exclusively for the Mini Paceman - Starlight Blue variants. Customers can order Mini Boost CD, Harman/Kardon hi-fi loudspeaker system and Mini navigation system with a 6.5-inch color display.
