2016 MINI CLUBMAN: Some of the excitement in the Mini exhibit at the Chicago Auto Show is the refined 2016 Mini Clubman. The big news is under the hood with a turbo 1.5-liter three-cylinder with 134-horsepower, or the 2.0L turbo four-cylinder producing 189-hp. All engines can be ordered with a standard six-speed manual gearbox or optional six-speed automatic transmission. Stretching the wheelbase nearly nine and a half inches in comparison to the Mini Hardtop significantly enhances the interior room and utility, as well as driver/passenger comfort and convenience. The rear-seat passenger entrance and exit is eased through the rear-hinged door incorporated in the car's right side. With its side Club Door and split Barn door at the back, the 2016 Mini Clubman is extra versatile. Overall, luggage space can go from 9.18 cubic feet with both rear seats up to 32.8 cubic feet with the seats folded. Did you know that the headlamps swivel to light the way around corners? The Mini Connected with navigation systems come with a 6.5-inch high-resolution display in the center speedo and a Bluetooth hands-free facility with USB audio interface.
