2016 Mazda CX-9

2016 MAZDA CX-9: Unmistakably Mazda, the all-new 2016 CX-9 midsize crossover sport utility vehicle is the largest vehicle in the company's lineup, and available in three trim levels - Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Under the long hood is the brand new SKYACTIV-G 2.5T that employs cooled exhaust gas recirculation system and produces 250-horsepower. Consumers have a choice between standard front-wheel and optional all-wheel drive setups. Visually, the sleek CX-9 continues Mazda's KODO "Soul of Motion" design cues that start with a bold, five-point front grille and chrome trim that flows up into the eagle-eyed headlights. The steeply raked windshield compliments the brawny fender arches, and the CX-9 rolls on standard 18-inch and optional 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in all-season tires. A paint palette of six colors includes new Soul Red and Machine Gray, which have a depth and luster normally seen on vehicles with six-figure stickers. The latest in hi-tech equipment adds blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross traffic alert, rear backup sensors and a rearview camera. The spacious seven-passenger cabin provides a respectable 17.2 cubic feet of cargo room even with middle and third-row occupants, and when both rows are folded flat, there is up to 100.7 cu. ft. of storage space from the lift gate and up toward the back of the front seats.
