2016 LINCOLN MKC: The 2016 Lincoln MKC is the brand's first-ever small utility, created from the ground up with a combination of craftsmanship and performance. Available in three series, Premiere, Select, and Reserve, the standard engine is the 240-horsepower 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder. An available 2.3L EcoBoost engine has a 285-hp. Standard with front-wheel drive and 18-inch wheels, the 2016 MKC can be ordered with Lincoln's intelligent all-wheel drive and 19-inch wheels for enhanced cornering and handling. the MKC sleek, sculpted body, wears a high beltline, low shoulders, pedestal side-view mirrors, an available panoramic, all-glass Vista Roof and the brand's signature split-wing grille (first used on 1938 Lincoln-Zephyr). A full-width LED taillamp and a wrap-around power liftgate with a complex side-view cutline complete the dramatic rear view. Active Grille Shutters are designed to help improve MKC fuel efficiency at highway speeds. New exterior color options include Black Velvet, Luxe metallic, and Burgundy Velvet metallic tinted clearcoat. An architecturally unique instrument panel showcases Lincoln's signature push-button gear shifter, plush leathers with French stitching, and available Bridge of Weir leather and real wood trim. MKC offers advanced technology such as collision warning with brake support, a lane-keeping system and driver assist to help drivers avoid common accidents. MKC introduces available park assist technology that helps guide drivers into and out of tight parallel parking situations. The vehicle's lane-keeping system uses rearview mirror-mounted cameras to identify lane markers and help drivers avoid unintentionally straying from their lane. MKC also offers a blind spot information system, which continuously monitors the vehicle's blind spots with radar sensors and class-exclusive cross-traffic alert. The towing capacity on models equipped with a trailer tow package is of 3,000 pounds. There is a total of 25.2-cu. ft. of cargo volume measured from behind the second-row seating, and up to 53.1-cu. ft. in back of the first row.
