2016 LEXUS RC: All-new last year, the Lexus RC 350 sports coupe returns to the 2016 Chicago Auto Show with new RC 200t and RC 300 AWD models joining the line-up. The RC 200t offered as the rear-wheel drive (RWD) only, comprises a 241-horsepower 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with intercooler paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Lexus offers the new RC 300 AWD with a modified 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 255-hp and paired with a six-speed automatic transmission for regions that include inclement weather. The RC's design includes the Lexus spindle grille that is accented by sophisticated headlights and LED daytime driving lamps. A combination of multiple LED lamps and cutting-edge lens technology give the rear lights a sparkling effect reminiscent of glittering gems. The 2+2 cockpit is upholstered in a choice of three colors and features an elegant cabin and available navigation screen with Remote Touch interface. The 60/40 split-fold rear seatback can accommodate items up to 59 inches long, such as snowboards. With the rear seats in use, the 10.4-cu. ft. luggage area can accommodate two golf bags. The RC 200t F SPORT and 350 RWD F SPORT now offers optional orange brake calipers and limited slip differential. Performance dampers are standard for RC 200t and available for RC 350 RWD F SPORT. Consumers have their choice from six RC colors that includes Infrared, Nebula Gray pearl, Silver Lining metallic, Atomic Silver, Obsidian (black) and Eminent White pearl exterior paint. The F SPORT offers three exclusive colors: Ultra White, Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0, and a standout orange, Molten Pearl.
