2016 Lexus LS

2016 LEXUS LS: The Lexus LS flagship sedan was launched more than 25 years ago, and for 2016, the luxury four-door continues to apply new upgrades. A wide range of model choices also makes the Lexus LS a standout. The LS 460 comes in regular and long-wheelbase versions, each with the further choice of rear-wheel drive or all-weather drive (360 hp with AWD). The ultimate Lexus flagship sedan remains the LS 600h L hybrid with 438 total system horsepower from a 5-liter V-8 paired with an electric motor and all-weather drive. New for 2016, the LS gain a new multimedia system, which is accessed through the navigation screen and provides a multitude of capabilities. The navigation system can help you reach your destination sooner with up to date and predictive traffic information, including detour preview, ETA calculation, and low-fuel coordination with available fuel stations. To enhance body rigidity and handling, the '16 LS receives body adhesive in more and run-flat summer tires are now available as a convenient option for LS gas models. When visiting the 2016 Chicago Auto Show, take a close look at the LS 460 F Sport package with its aggressive exterior that includes larger cooling openings, black grille surround, and round fog lamps. It's also fitted with a steering wheel with paddle shifters, Brembo six-piston caliper brakes and 19-inch forged wheels. For a large sedan that weighs around 5600 lbs, the LS can sprint from 0-to-60 mph in 5.4 seconds, and reach a top track speed of 130 mph. Each LS seats five in luxurious surroundings and a tailored trunk that carries 18.0 cu. ft. of luggage for those weekend getaways. A really cool option is an available ottoman seating package with Shiatsu massage and a rear seat entertainment system, featuring a Blu-ray DVD player, an SD card slot and a retractable, ceiling-mounted, nine-inch full-color VGA screen.
