2016 JEEP WRANGLER: Big news for the Jeep Wrangler sport-utility vehicle for 2016 is the addition of the new Black Bear model to the lineup. It joins the Wrangler Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon Hard Rock, Freedom, Unlimited and Willys Wheeler editions. All Wrangler variants are equipped with a Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) 3.6-liter V-6 engine delivers 285-horsepower. Together with part-time four-wheel drive, a body-on-frame and a choice of the six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission, the Wrangler offers a broad torque band and a towing capability up to 3,500 lbs. All Wrangler's are easily recognizable with signature features that include classic round headlamps, seven-slot grille, trapezoid wheel flares, removable doors, exposed hinges, a fold-down windshield and innovative removable tops and half doors. Wrangler Rubicon and Sahara models share a body-color hardtop option, offering a premium appearance. A revised soft top on the Unlimited models makes it easier to raise and lower by one person. Wrangler Sahara receives exterior and interior appearance updates, including new wheels, body-color bumper applique and Olive Green interior option. The Jeep Wrangler now contains seats that have been re-contoured and feature larger bolsters, auto-dimming mirror with LED map lighting, a standard eight-speaker audio system, improved soundbar, and an optional Premium Alpine Audio Package that includes nine Alpine speakers.
