2016 HYUNDAI TUCSON: Stop in the Hyundai exhibit while enjoying the 108th annual Chicago Auto Show, and take a look at the all-new 2016 Hyundai Tucson. For this model year, the Tucson is offered in four trim levels, including the SE, Eco, Sport, and Limited. For 2016, the Tucson powertrains include a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder that produces 175-horsepower and the 164-hp 2.0-liter direct injected four-cylinder. Depending on the engine, a six-speed automatic and a seven-speed dual clutch automatic are offered. Consumers can choose front wheel or all-wheel drive configurations, and Tucson towing rating range between 1000-1500 lbs. For even more driver control, there is hillstart assist control and downhill brake control systems. Externally, Tucson uses Hyundai "Fluidic Sculpture" styling with flowing lines, full surfaces, and muscular presence. Inside, the five-seat Tucson offers optional panoramic sunroof (replaces roof side rails), navigation system with 6.5-in screen, premium audio, external amplifier and subwoofer, as well as a rearview camera. The 2016 Tucson offers the next-generation of Hyundai Blue Link, with enhanced safety, service and infotainment telematics, seamless connectivity, remote start/stop, and remote door lock/unlock. Selected models add heated front seats, fog lights, and proximity key entry with push button start. Tucson can be ordered with smart power liftgate with auto-open. Consumers have a choice of eight exterior and three interior color environments. Along with a total of 19 different storage places, the cargo room has been increased for 2016 with 31.0-cu.ft. with rear seats up and 61.9-cu.ft. when the rear seats are folded down.
