2016 CADILLAC ATS: The 2016 Cadillac ATS is available in compact luxury sports Sedan and Coupe models, and offering a more potent and refined V-6 engine matched with an all-new, paddle-shift eight-speed automatic transmission. Along with the 321-horsepower V-6 (464-hp in the V), buyers have a choice of two four-cylinder power plants: 2-5-liter with 202-hp or the 272-hp 2.0L. A six-speed manual and six-speed automatic are offered for the four-cylinder engines, and stop/start technology is standard. The ATS trim levels include Standard, Luxury, Performance, Premium and ATS-V variants. With its long 109.3-inch wheelbase, the ATS provides a roomy, driver-focus five-passenger cockpit, and the tailored trunk can haul 10.2 cu ft. of luggage. Cadillac CUE is the centerpiece of the ATS's system of info-entertainment technologies and includes an eight-inch LCD multi-touch screen that resembles a smartphone's screen. Standard 17- and 18-inch wheels are available. Dealer-available accessories, includes an aluminum sport pedal set, 19-inch wheels, 19-inch Y-rated summer tires, black chrome-accented sport grille and black chrome rear appliqué trim. New paint colors include Cocoa Bronze, Moonstone, and Stellar Black metallic. Available safety and security package now includes lane change alert, remote locking fuel door, side blind zone alert and rear cross-traffic alert. The ATS Coupe rides on the same 109.3-inch wheelbase as the Sedan, but the roof, doors, rear fenders and trunk lid are unique to the Coupe, along with a specific front fascia and front fenders that accommodate a wider track than the sedan. The high-output six-cylinder in the ATS-V records 0-to-60 performance in 3.8 seconds and a top track speed of 189 mph.
