2016 BUICK ENCLAVE: Buick's Enclave has become an industry best-selling three-row, large luxury crossover and the model that reintroduced Buick to a new generation of luxury customers more than six years ago. For 2016, the Enclave is offered in three trim levels: Convenience (1SD), Leather (1SL) and Premium (1SN), and can be fitted with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. All '16 Enclaves come equipped with a 3.6-liter direct injected V-6 with variable valve timing and a healthy 288-horsepower. Combined with the standard electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission, and when properly equipped, the powertrain can tow up to 4,500 pounds. Enclave's eight passenger cabin contains upgraded materials and the industry's first front center air bag system. Summit White, Ebony Twilight metallic, White Frost tri-coat are new exterior colors, and compliment the standard 19-aluminum wheels and optional 19-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels. Even with all-aboard, Enclave offers 23.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row. When second and third rows are flat, there is a maximum of 115.2 cubic feet of cargo space available behind the front row of seats. Monochromatic paint schemes accented with chrome contribute to the luxury crossover's premium appearance, along with large 18-, 19- and 20-inch wheel designs. Popular features include camera-based Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning, along with SiriusXM Tune Select and text-to-voice features added to Buick's IntelliLink infotainment system's capabilities. Also, a pair of USB ports has been added to the rear of the center console to charge phones and other electronic devices. While at the 108th annual Chicago Auto Show, Feb.13-21, 2016, ask about the new Tuscan Edition that elevates Enclave's sculpted beauty with a striking bronze waterfall grille and 20-inch chrome clad wheels with bronze pockets (available on 1SL and 1SN).
