Next is a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 170 horsepower and pairs with either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. A 2.0-liter turbocharged engine making 210 horsepower powers GLI models, and the Jetta TDI is powered by a 2.0-liter turbodiesel. A hybrid model is available, powered by a 1.4-liter hybrid powertrain. Available features include Bluetooth, premium audio, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and starting, blind spot alert (new for 2015), rear cross-traffic alert (new for 2015), park distance control (new for 2015), navigation, and a rearview camera. Base Jettas can get 34 mpg on the highway with either transmission, while 1.8T models are promising 37 mpg with either gearbox. The Jetta TDI is rated at 46 mpg highway with the manual and 45 mpg highway with the automatic.
