2015 VOLKSWAGEN CC: If you like your sedans to be stylish, be sure to stop by the Volkswagen booth at the 107th Chicago Auto Show, Feb. 14-22, 2015. On hand will be the 2015 Volkswagen CC, which is a four-door “coupe.” New for 2015 is a standard navigation system and standard rearview camera on all trim levels, as well as the standard availability of Volkswagen’s Car-Net connected services system on all trim levels. The R-Line trim also gets more aggressive styling for 2015. The CC continues to be offered with a choice of 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine or a 3.6-liter V-6. The former makes 200 horsepower, while the latter makes 280. The smaller engine is paired with a front-wheel-drive powertrain and either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic transmission. The V-6 is automatic only and all-wheel drive is standard with that engine. Available features include navigation, rearview camera, a SD card reader, iPod integration, a 6.5-inch color touchscreen, a 30GB hard drive that can store up to 18GB of music, a premium audio system with 10 speakers, and a 60/40 split-fold rear seat. The rear seats offer remote latching, and the CC offers up 13.2 cubic feet of trunk space. The CC is the sedan for those who don’t want to look like they’re driving a sedan.
