2015 TOYOTA SIENNA: The 2015 Toyota Sienna is updated for the first time since 2011 and it's appearing at the 107th Chicago Auto Show, Feb. 14-22, 2015. The biggest changes are on the inside, where the Sienna gets additional soft-touch surfaces on portions of the dashboard, a new instrument panel design with a multi-information display between the gauges, and the latest version of Toyota's Entune infotainment system. Entune has always provided access to apps on owners' smartphones, but it now adds a customizable homescreen, swipe capability, and cache radio that can rewind up to 20 minutes of programming. Drivers can also train the voice recognition system to better understand their individual pronunciation. The exterior adds aero fins on the taillights, LED daytime driving lights up front, and a new grille design for most models. Underneath, the 2015 Sienna gets retuned shocks and springs for a more controlled ride and 142 additional spot welds to increase rigidity. The lineup includes L, LE, SE, SE Premium, XLE, XLE Premium, Limited, and Limited Premium models, each motivated by a 266-horsepower 3.5-liter V6. Front-wheel drive is standard, but the Sienna is the only minivan to offer all-wheel drive as well. Notable equipment on higher line models includes a dual Blu-Ray DVD entertainment system, a heated steering wheel, a new Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and the new Driver Easy Speak feature. This system uses a microphone in the overhead console to amplify the driver's voice and broadcast it through the speakers.
