2015 TOYOTA PRIUS C: Toyota is exhibiting the smallest member of the Prius family of hybrids at the 107th annual Chicago Auto Show, Feb.14-22, 2015. The Prius C (c stands for city) gets an updated exterior look, new interior features, new colors, and more available features. For 2015, Toyota has added LED headlights and redesigned taillights that are also LED. There is now an available piano black/chrome trim option for the interior, along with an available two-tone fabric option. Prius C is available in four trims: One, Two, Three, and Four. Level One offers features such as LED headlights and taillights, Toyota’s EnTune Audio (includes an app suite, USB port, AM/FM/CD/MP3 player, Bluetooth, voice recognition, and an auxiliary jack), a 3.5-inch display screen, tilt/telescope steering wheel, a four-way adjustable driver’s seat, four-way adjustable front passenger seat, and remote keyless entry. The Two trim adds such features as cruise control, an engine immobilizer, a tonneau cover for the rear cargo area, and a six-way adjustable driver’s seat. The Three trim is available with features like push-button start, satellite radio, and navigation, while the Four is available with features such as LED fog lamps, a power tilt/slide moonroof with sunshade, a rearview camera, heated front seats, and heated power outside mirrors. The Prius C is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder that pairs with an electric motor to form a hybrid system that makes 99 horsepower. The transmission is a continuously-variable automatic (CVT) and the Prius C achieves 53 mpg city/46 mpg highway/50 mpg combined.
