2015 NISSAN SENTRA: Now in its seventh-generation, the Nissan Sentra continues to be refined for MY2015. A number of interior comfort and convenience enhancements include Bluetooth hands-free phone system and USB connection port. The ’15 Sentra comes with a revised CVT (continuously variable transmission), revised steering and suspension tuning. Inside the cabin, there is a new sliding front armrest, new front seat lower cushion storage pockets, an updated NissanConnect with navigation, improved voice recognition and one-shot destination entry. Design elements include front LED and rear LED lighting, and a lowered beltline with character line that runs from the front fenders, along the sides, and finishes at the sculpted taillights and trunklid. The exterior presents a more aggressive stance and enhanced outward visibility for passengers, with a strong family resemblance to the larger Nissan Altima. Built on a new platform, the front-wheel drive ’15 Sentra is 150-pounds lighter and more aerodynamic, which allows Nissan to use a more fuel-efficient 130- horsepower 1.8-liter engine. Along with the CVT, a six-speed manual is offered in the base Sentra S model. Standard 16-inch steel wheels with full covers can be replaced by 17-inch split seven-spoke aluminum-alloy rims. Other exterior features include chrome door handles and accents, available heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signals, and available sport front and rear fascias and rear spoiler. The five passenger cabin comes with a standard 60/40 split folding design, offering versatile access to the 15.1-cubic feet of trunk space. Four new exterior color are offered for 2015: Titanium, Red Alert (SR only), Cayenne Red (replaces Red Brick) and Gun Metallic (replaces Magnetic Gray).
