2015 MITSUBISHI LANCER: Mitsubishi has a wide range of Lancer models on display at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, ranging from the economical/fuel efficient, fun-to-drive Lancer ES, to the pavement pounding performance of the rally racing-bred Lancer Ralliart. A wide range of newly available features include heated side mirrors with turn indicators, unique 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels, FUSE Hands-Free Link System with USB port, 6 speaker audio system and fog lights. Popular upgrades include a rearview camera, navigation system with seven-inch hi-def touch panel, HD radio, SiriusXM, five-spoke 16-inch alloy wheel design, new seats and seating surface fabric, plus stylish gloss black interior décor panel. Lancer's line-up begins with the entry-level Lancer DE four-door, then moves up to the ES, GT, Ralliart, and recent Lancer SE AWC (All-Wheel Control all-wheel drive system) at an exceptionally-low price point. All Lancers feature four-cylinder engines mated to a five-speed manual gearbox or continuously-variable transmission (CVT) with automated manual steering wheel paddle shifters. Both the DE and ES are powered by the 2.0-liter four-cylinder that develops 148-horsepower. The SE and performance-oriented Lancer GT feature a potent 168-hp 2.4L under its hood. For all-out performance and features, there's the Lancer Ralliart with a 237-hp 2.0L turbocharged and intercooled MIVEC-equipped four-cylinder. That hot setup comes mated to the lightning-fast six-speed automated manual Twin-Clutch Sportronic Shift transmission. Ralliart's athletic ability is due to features like full-time all-wheel control with Active Center Differential, along with a front helical limited-slip differential, a rear limited-slip differential and Hill Start Assist.
