2015 LINCOLN MKC: A brand new small premium utility vehicle will be on exhibit for the first time in Chicago during the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. It’s the 2015 Lincoln MKC. Created from the ground up, the MKC sleek, sculpted body, wears a high beltline, low shoulders, pedestal side-view mirrors, an available panoramic, all-glass Vista Roof and the brand's signature split-wing grille (first used on 1938 Lincoln-Zephyr). A full-width LED taillamp and wrap-around liftgate with a complex side view cutline complete the dramatic rear view. Active Grille Shutters are designed to help improve MKC fuel efficiency at highway speeds. Standard engine is the 240 horsepower 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder. An available 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine has a projected 275hp. Standard with front-wheel drive and 18-inch wheels, the 2015 MKC can be ordered with Lincoln’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and 19-inch wheels for enhanced cornering and handling. An architecturally unique instrument panel showcases Lincoln’s signature push-button gear shifter, plush leathers with French stitching, and available Bridge of Weir leather and real wood trim. MKC offers advanced technology such as collision warning with brake support, a lane-keeping system and driver assist to help drivers avoid common accidents. MKC introduces available park assist technology that helps guide drivers into and out of tight parallel parking situations. The vehicle’s lane-keeping system uses rearview mirror-mounted cameras to identify lane markers and help drivers avoid unintentionally straying from their lane. MKC also offers a blind spot information system, which continuously monitors the vehicle’s blind spots with radar sensors, and class-exclusive cross-traffic alert.
