2015 Infiniti Q60 Convertible

2015 INFINITI Q60 CONVERTIBLE: Formerly known s the G37 convertible, the Infiniti Q60 Convertible is available in two models, Q60 Convertible, Q60S Convertible 6MT. (The Q60 IPL droptop is reviewed separately). For 2015, the athletic, well-proportioned couple-like styling (with the top raised) wears flowing front fenders, a wave-like hood and signature Infiniti double-arch grille. There are two new exterior colors offered, Majestic White and Hagane Blue, which are added to Venetian Ruby, Malbec Black, Liquid Platinum, Graphite Shadow, Black Obsidian and Moonlight White. With the top up, the Q60 Convertible maintains its Infiniti Q60 Coupe-like silhouette through use of a special three-piece "clamshell" retractable hardtop, which allows for both a stylish shorter rear overhang and a low trunk lid. Signature Infiniti styling cues include L-shaped High-Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-functional xenon headlights with fog lamps. In the rear, the taillights are unique to the Q60 Convertible, incorporating an inner "circle of light" for added style. The chrome rear trunk finisher incorporates both an integrated high-mount stoplight and the small camera for the standard RearView Monitor system. Every 2014 Q60 Convertible comes equipped with a standard 3.7-liter V6 engine with VVEL (for Variable Valve Event and Lift), rated at 325 horsepower. The engine is mated to a choice of an electronically controlled seven-speed automatic transmission with manual mode, downshift rev matching, Drive Sport (DS) mode, Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) and available solid magnesium paddle shifters; or a responsive, lightweight close-ratio six-speed manual transmission on the Q60S Convertible 6MT. Other available Q60 Convertible features include standard Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System and the available Infiniti Navigation System with available NavTraffic and NavWeather, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth and Zagat Survey Restaurant Guide and touch screen.
