2015 HYUNDAI ELANTRA SEDAN: Last year, the Hyundai Elantra received all-new front and rear exterior designs, upgraded interior styling, new GDI engine and improved handling. Returning for 2015, the front-wheel drive Elantra is offered in new SE Style, as well as Elantra SE, Limited and Sport. New technologies built into the ‘15 Elantra include the next-generation navigation and audio technology, enhanced voice recognition commands, improved navigation screens and available Pandora internet radio. A 4.3-inch color touchscreen with integrated rearview camera is now available on the entry level SE, in the Preferred Package, and as standard equipment on the Elantra Sport and Limited. Under the hood, the SE and Limited come with an all-new 145 horsepower 1.8 liter Nu four-cylinder engine, while the Elantra Sport trim is outfitted with the 2.0L “Nu” GDI four-cylinder that produces 173-hp. Engines can be ordered with the hi-tech six-speed manual gearbox or new in-house six-speed automatic transaxle with Shiftronic manual control. Elantra's five passenger cabin is so roomy the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) classifies it as a mid-size car, not a compact car. Elantra’s trunk volume at 14.8 cubic feet can fit three sets of golf clubs. Standard audio system is a 172-watt AM/FM/satellite radio/CD/MP3 audio system with six-speakers and iPod/USB/auxiliary input jacks. A 360-watt system with external amplifier is optional. Elantra Limited Tech Package becomes Ultimate Package, providing a $350 savings over the previous model year Tech Package. New exterior colors include Quartz White Pearl, Symphony Silver, Lakeside Blue, Shale Gray Metallic and Monaco White.
