2015 HONDA ODYSSEY: Honda will display the refreshed 2015 Odyssey minivan at the 107th edition of the Chicago Auto Show (Feb.14-22), in LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Touring Elite trim levels. Refined changes for 2015 include black-trimmed headlights, available fog lights, a muscular hood, black-surround griller, rear styling and LED taillights with clear lenses and eye-catching perimeter "light pipes," To make minivans more exciting to drive, the new Odyssey is equipped with a 248 horsepower 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. For longer road trips, an easy low-speed steering effort and a confident feel on the highway provides a smooth, quiet ride. Drivers will love the steering wheel-mounted controls to change the music, answer a phone call, listen to a text message or activate cruise control, with out taking hands off the wheel. With a full third row, Odyssey can seat seven or eight adults in comfort, and while at the Chicago Auto Show, ask about the advantage of the ‘One-Motion 60/40 Split 3rd-Row Magic Seat.’ With the second row seats removed, and third-row seats stowed, there’s enough floor space for a stack of 4-by-8 sheets of plywood laid flat, or a total maximum cargo room of 148.5 cu. ft. For big messes, the ’15 Odyssey is the first minivan ever to come with a built-in vaccum cleaner (Touring Elite). An available 16.2-inch Honda DVD Ultrawide rear entertainment system keeps the peace with split-screen viewing capability. Further advanced technologies include Vehicle Stability Assist, Forward Collision Warning and Blind Spot Information systems, new LaneWatch and rearview camera with guidelines.
