2015 HONDA CIVIC: America's best-selling compact car, the Honda Civiv, extends its competitive lead and value for the 2015 model year with sportier exterior styling for Civic Coupe and interior styling upgrades for all Civic Sedans and Coupes. This year, the Honda Civic Coupe and Sedan are available in LX, EX, EX-L, EX-L Navi and HF versions. Joining the Civic family for 2015 is a new Special Edition (SE) sedan positioned between the LX and EX. The substantial list of high value standard features on the ‘15 Civic includes a rearview camera with guidelines, expanded view driver’s mirror and Bluetooth HandsFreeLink. Available features include the seven-inch capacitive touch-screen Display Audio, HondaLink next-generation connected-car technology, LaneWatch display and Smart Entry with Push Button start. The Civic Hybrid features a 1.5-liter, 2-stage i-VTEC four-cylinder gasoline engine with Honda's Integrated Motor Assist system and a Lithium-Ion battery pack, producing 110-horsepower. The 2-stage i-VTEC system cuts off all four-cylinders, allowing the electric motor to propel the car at low speeds or while cruising on a level surface. Standard 1.8L i-VTEC four-cylinder engine produces 143-hp, and now available with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). A new, larger 2.4L four-cylinder delivers 204hp to the Si Coupe and sedan. Depending on the engine and model, a continuously variable transmission (CVT), five-speed manual, five-speed automatic and new six-speed manual transmissions are available. Paddle shifters are available on the Civic Coupe CVT. Both sedan and coupe offer seating for five, a 60/40-split rear seat, and cargo areas in three sizes. The sedan's trunk is rated at 12.5 cubic feet of volume, while the coupe drops slightly to 11.7 cu. ft and the hybrid to 10.7 cu. ft. Across the board, every Civic model is equipped with Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, Bluetooth Audio, rearview camera, color i-MID display, USB/iPod connection, Pandora Interface, an SMS text feature, steering wheel audio controls, exterior temperature gauge and sliding center-console armrest.
