2015 Ford Focus: Ford Focus arrives for 2015 with a bold new look that includes a restyled hood, grille and trunk lid, available LED signature lighting for headlamps and taillamps, and new rear lamp clusters. Sedan and hatchback versions will be available in the United States. Inside, colors and materials have a clean, modern look, with satin chrome detailing, new seat trims and switches, and an available heated steering wheel. Storage is improved with a new center console incorporating adjustable cupholders and an easier-to-access glove box. Powertrain choices for the front-wheel drive Focus includes the 1.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost three-cylinder that delivers 123-hp and comes linked to a six-speed manual gearbox, or the 160-hp 2.0-liter Ti-VCT FFV four-cylinder mated to a standard five-speed manual. Either of the two engines can be ordered with the optional six-speed automatic transmission. Proprietary Ford software brings outstanding performance and efficiency from these engines for significantly better fuel economy than larger-displacement gasoline engines with comparable output. Standard on Focus for the first time, the rear view camera will appear on either a 4.2-inch screen or the available 8-inch screen that comes with MyFord Touch-equipped cars. Available driver-assist technologies for 2015 can add a lane-keeping system and Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert. Around back, the four-door sedan offers 13.2 cu. ft. of cargo room in the trunk, while the four-door hatchback model provides 23.8 cu. ft. behind the second row seating, and up to 44.8 behind first row.
