Chevrolet Equinox

2015 CHEVROLET EQUINOX: As one of the most popular small crossovers, the Chevrolet Equinox rolls into 2015 with sight tweeks that includes OnStar with 4G LTE and standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and two new metallic colors called, Blue Velvet and Sea Grass. Trim levels consist of the Equinox L, LS, LT and LTZ, as well as with front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. The standard engine is the Ecotec 2.4-liter direct-injected four-cylinder that creates 182-horsepower hp and achieves an estimated 32 mpg highway. An available 301 horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine maintains 24 mpg on the highway, and is backed up by the FE2 suspension and a pick of 18-inch or 19-inch chrome-clad wheels. All Chevrolet Equinox engines are connected to GM Hydra-Matic six-speed automatics, and an "Eco" transmission mode on 2.4L-equipped models alters shift points to improve fuel economy. As a SUV/crossover, the ‘14 Equinox can seat five, or when rear seats are down, provide up to 63.7 cu. ft. of cargo-carrying room. A power convenience package contains a new universal home remote, eight-way power front passenger seat and power-assisted programmable liftgate. Additional popular features are the available rear-seat, dual-player DVD entertainment system with dual displays in the seat backs and dual wireless headphones. Consumers can also opt for the Chevrolet MyLink Radio with navigation, hands-free route guidance, standard blind spot mirrors, rear-vision camera, plus, the forward collision alert and lane departure warning systems that are available for both four-cylinder and V-6 models.
