2015 CHEVROLET CAMARO: As the segment’s best seller four years running and the introduction of a new appearance with last year’s model, the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro remains the same as last year’s model. Only new addition is Blue Velvet metallic to the ’15 color palette. Buyers have their choice of Camaro models: LS, LT, SS and SS w/1LE. The exterior front fascia features a wider lower opening, and a narrower upper opening that also updates the appearance of the iconic “halo ring” HID headlamps. Functional hood vent on the Camaro SS helps reduce heat and aerodynamic lift. Moving to the rear, the sculptural decklid, horizontal lamps and diffuser complete the powerful statement. The ‘15 LS and LT come fitted with a more powerful and efficient version of the 3.6-liter direct-injected V-6 that delivers 323 horsepower. A 6.2L V-8, with up to 426 hp is standard in the SS coupe and convertible. For 2015, the Camaro engines can be mated to either a Aisin or Tremec six-speed manual gearbox, or one of two versions of the Hydra-Matic six-speed automatic transmission. The ZL1 Coupe accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 184 mph. Like the ZL1, all Camaro SS models now feature variable-effort electric power steering and an available dual-mode exhaust system on manual transmission-equipped models. In addition to the new performance features the revised Camaro offers frameless inside rearview mirror, Mojave leather interior trim, remote vehicle start, color-touch radio, and new 18-inch and 20-inch wheel designs. Stylish, functional cockpit seats four and tailored trunk has 11.0 cubic foot of cargo room. The ’15 Camaro coupe offers 11.3 cu ft of luggage room, and 10.2 cu ft for the convertible with the top up.
