2014 TOYOTA COROLLA: Make sure to check-out the all-new, eleventh-generation Corolla compact sedan in the Toyota exhibit at the 106th edition of the Chicago Auto Show, Feb.8-17, 2014. Applying “Iconic Dynamism” styling similar to the praised Corolla Furia concept car from last year’s CAS, the 2014 Toyota Corolla features a chiseled exterior, compact overhangs, and more aerodynamically-tapered in front and rear. The new sedan is 3.90 inches longer overall; rides on a longer wheelbase with the wheels pushed out toward the corners.  Corolla is available in four distinct grades: L, LE, S, and the new LE Eco grade - all front-wheel drive. A 1.8 liter DOHC four-cylinder is the standard powerplant with 132 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, four-speed automatic or CVTi-S (continuously variable transmission – i for intelligent/S for shift). When ordering the LE Eco, the horsepower is bumped-up to 140hp and exclusively linked to the CVTi-S for estimated 35 mpg combined city/highway. All Corollas feature LED lowbeam headlamps with LED daytime running lights, an in-glass AM/FM antenna, color-keyed outside door handles, color-keyed outside mirrors, a 60/40 split fold-down rear seat, power door locks with automatic locking feature, power windows with driver-side one-touch up/down, air conditioning with pollen filter, standard Bluetooth connectivity and eight airbags. Some of the available content includes Smart Key/push-button start, power moonroof, back-up monitor, paddle shifters, rear deck lid spoiler and the next generation Entune audio with 6.1” touchscreen, navigation and Entune app suite.
