TOYOTA COROLLA CRUSHER: Canadian Drew Bezanson burst onto the BMX scene in a big way back in 2003 after landing a truck driver into an eight-foot quarterpipe as an amateur at the Toronto BMX Jam. But what’s even more impressive than the trick itself is the fact that Bezanson had only been riding BMX for two years at the time. With dream built inspiration, Skullcandy, Bezanson and the Motorsports Technical Center teamed up to build the ultimate Corolla Crusher designed to meld extreme BMXing with extreme sound. When the team sat down to dream up the perfect vehicle, they envisioned a Corolla that could take them to incredible ride-spots and along the way, deliver an amazing audio experience. The engine sports a TRD exhaust, with an Optima Bluetop D27M battery and Tein adjustable coil over shock absorbers, springs and TRD rear sway bar. Fast Ed’s interiors made over the cabin, installing MV Designz custom stereo system with iPad display in dash, with removable external speakers with “Bass You Can Feel.” The entire vehicle has been deckout with graphics by Edge Design/Skullcandy, accented by Rigid Industries new 30” RDS-Series light bar with three sets of D2 driving lamps. A pair of bikes carried on the car include a DK Machine Drew Bezanson signature model and a DK Helio model with 100% chromoly frame, fork and bars. The Corolla Crusher rolls on Enkei 15-inch rims wrapped in Gravel-Spec Soft Rally tires.
