2014 NISSAN MAXIMA: Entering the 2014 model year, the Nissan Maxima receives additional enhancements to make the flagship sedan an even more desirable automobile. A rearview monitor is now standard on all levels, with USB connectivity and 7.0-inch color monitor and QVGA display. A value package adds smoked appearance headlights, HID Xenon silver wheels, rear spoiler, fog lights, outside mirrors with integrated turn signals and metallic trim treatment. For 2014, the Nissan Maxima is offered as two well-equipped models, 3.5 S and 3.5 SV, each powered by a 290 horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC V-6 engine mated to an Xtronic CVT with manual and “DS” (drive sport) modes and available paddle shifters. Two new exterior colors: Gun Metallic (replaces Dark Gray) and Midnight Garnet (replaces Tuscan Sun); eight available exterior colors total. Outfitted with an aggressive, powerful exterior, Maxima’s styling is defined by its deeply sculpted body/fender treatment and wraparound L-shaped headlights with "turbine" light surrounds. A sport-tuned chassis has the quickest steering ratio of any Nissan sedan, and can be fitted with available 19-inch Hyper Silver-finished wheels with optional summer tires. Tailored five-passenger cabin use of premium materials including available metallic-finish trim and Atlantic Cherry wood-tone trim. Two available interior colors: Charcoal and Café Latté. Maxima's trunk can carry up to 14.2 cu. ft. of luggage. An available dual panel moonroof combines a normal moonroof and a fixed translucent rear section over rear seat passengers. Customers can add an available rear spoiler and dual exhaust with chrome finishers. A wide range of available technology includes a Bose premium audio system, rear view monitor and Nissan hard drive navigation system with NavTraffic real-time traffic information and voice recognition
