2014 NISSAN GT-R: For 2014, the Nissan GT-R street-able supercar introduces a third and most exclusive model – the GT-R Track Edition, joining the GT-R Premium and GT-R Black Edition. The new Track Edition features a specially tuned suspension, special brake cooling guides, front spoiler with carbon fiber air ducts and a lightweight quilted cloth mat where the rear seats usually reside. Inside, the Track Edition features special blue-trimmed high-grip fronts seats. Availability of the GT-R Track Edition is limited to 150 units for the United States.  Returning, is the GT-R Black Edition with special lightweight black aluminum forged RAYS wheels, unique red and black interior, Recaro leather-appointed seats and a unique dry carbon fiber rear spoiler. Available Premium Interior Package adds Red Amber semi-aniline leather appointments. All models are equipped with the mid-mounted 545 horsepower V-6 engine, backed by an advanced paddle-shifted sequential six-speed dual clutch transmission, which can be driver selected to shift at race car-like speeds. In addition, the suspension has been retuned and a handmade dry carbon rear spoiler has also been added to the Nissan GT-R Black Edition model. Stopping power is again provided by Brembo monoblock six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. All GT-R’s are again built on an exclusive midship platform, which enables the use of the world's first independent rear transaxle ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system.  This system places the transmission, transfer case and final drive at the rear of the vehicle, optimizing weight distribution and maximizing handling capability. GT-R's interior features sculpted performance bucket seats for an optimal driving position and a cockpit-style instrument panel with a large center-mounted tachometer and multi-function display - which includes mechanical and driving information, as well as an on-board driving recorder. A specially designed 11-speaker Bose sound system with speakers mounted in rigid aluminum die cast panels, which provides sound quality suitable for a supercar, is standard.  Also standard on all models is a RearView Monitor.
