2014 LEXUS RX 350: Entering the 2014 model year, the third-generation Lexus RX 350 continues to combined the best of car and SUV features in both front-wheel and all-wheel/all-weather drive configurations. Key factors to the success of the RX models' are the handling agility and smart packaging that yields five-passenger comfort and greater cargo area room. For model year 2014, the RX wears a bold spindle grille design, new bumper, LED daytime running lights, unique fog lamp bezels, updated taillights and rear license plate surround. Big news is the F SPORT model featuring eight-speed transmission, paddle shifters and sport-tuned suspension for a more engaging driving experience. The standard model (FWD and AWD) uses a six-speed automatic gearbox. New for 2014 is the available Siri Eyes Free Mode licensed from Apple and compatible with models starting with the iPhone 4S. That system plays music from iTunes and receives turn-by-turn navigation. For the ultimate in mobile sound, Lexus exclusively offers an optional 15-speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound system, Consumers will appreciate the new power back door and a choice from nine exterior colors. The RX 350 comes with 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, or consumers can select from two optional 19-inch packages. High-intensity LEDs on the available Heads Up Display project high-contrast white figures onto the windshield, which are easier to read - and easier on the eyes. With the 40/20/40 split rear seats up and rearmost, there is 40.0 cu. ft. of cargo volume, and with rear seats folded down, an impressive 80.3 cu. ft.
