2014 KIA OPTIMA: Combining European-inspired design and fun-to-drive performance, the 2014 Kia Optima mid-size sedan aerodynamic shape has been further accentuated by updated rear diffusers and a sweeping trunk lid.  Lighting up the striking front are LED positioning and fog lights, along with clear, newly designed LED rear lamps. Available in LX, EX, SX, SX Turbo and SX-Limited trims, Optima offers two powerful Theta II powerplants. This include a 2.4-liter GDI four-cylinder and a 2.0-liter GDI turbo engine. The 2.4-liter GDI engine produces 200 horsepower, while the 274 hp 2.0-liter turbo GDI engine delivers V-6-type power with a four-cylinder's efficiency. Each engine choice comes mated with a standard six-speed automatic transmission featuring Sportmatic clutchless shifting. Optima's five-passenger cabin provides the experience of a performance vehicle without sacrificing comfort or roominess. The improvements continue within the cabin of the 2014 Optima  Activating the Optima’s push button ignition brings two new displays to life: a 4.3-inch TFT LCD instrument cluster and optional high-resolution 8-inch navigation and telematics screen, featuring UVO eServices, an 8-speaker Infinity sound system, HD Radio, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and SiriusXM Traffic.  All-new seat designs ensure a comfortable drive in the powerful and spirited sedan, while an optional new Blind Spot Detection system, which includes rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors, improve convenience and peace of mind.. Depending on model, 16- 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels are standard. With rear seat up, Optima offers 15.4 cu.ft. of cargo room.
