2014 FORD FUSION: The still-fresh 2014 Ford Fusion is a stand out in today's competitive midsize car market, available in three distinct models - S, SE and Titanium, For 2014 several new color combinations are available starting with two new exterior colors, Dark Side and Sunset. Fusion SE customers who prefer the carryover Sterling Gray exterior can opt for the Dune interior with either cloth or leather seating surfaces. The new Interior Appearance Package for Fusion Titanium includes premium leather seating surfaces and vinyl door inserts finished in Brick Red along with premium floor mats. This model year, enthusiast drivers can up the ante with an optional summer-only tire package with 19-inch alloy wheels. Fusion offers the broadest selection of fuel-efficient powertrains in its segment. We're talking hybrid and plug-in hybrid alternatives, a trio - 1.5-liter, 1.6L and 2.0L – EcoBoost four-cylinder engines; a normally aspirated four-cylinder engine, and automatic start-stop technology to shut off the engine at stationary idle. Buyers have their selection of front-wheel or all-wheel drive applications, and a choice between automatic and manually shifted six-speed transmissions. Horsepower ratings range from 175 up to 240 hp. Topping the fuel-efficiency ladder is the Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid, aimed to deliver more than 100 MPGe, a mile per gallon equivalency metric for electrified vehicles. Inside, the new Fusion offers a sporty, driver-oriented environment with five-passenger seating, and a 16.0 cu. ft. trunk for luggage or groceries. Fusion is offered with the latest technologies, including Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert, lane keeping technology, adaptive cruise control, active park assist, and voice control MyFord Touch system.
