2014 FORD F-150: As the final year of this generation Ford F-150, with the 2015 models on the way, the F-150 is basically unchanged for 2014 model year. The bold exterior features high-intensity discharge headlights; available power-telescoping and powerfolding trailer-tow sideview mirror, 17-inch machined aluminum wheels with painted accents standard on top series, and new Marina Blue specialty leather with natural perforation. Also new for 2014 is the Sunset Metallic color, which joins last model year’s new hues Blue Jeans Metallic, Kodiak Brown Metallic and Ruby Red Clearcoat Metallic as part of an even wider array of color options for truck buyers. F-150 style also is enhanced with new 18- and 20-inch wheels offered in various trim packages. Series includes XL, STX, XLT, FX2/FX4, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor, Limited and SVT Raptor. Engine statistics start with the 302 horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6. There is a 3.5L EcoBoost that delivers 365hp; 5.0L V-8 with 360hp and muscular 6.2L V-8 that generates 411hp. All powerplants come with standard six-speed automatic transmission. In fact, Ford is the first manufacturer to equip its entire full-size pickup truck lineup with fuel-saving six-speed automatics. With the 3.7L V-6, the F-150 can tow up to 6,700 pounds. For maximum towing, the 6.2L V-8 and turbo V-6 has an 11.300lb rating. The regular cab and SuperCab body can be ordered with either a 6.5-or 8-foot truck bed. If you prefer the SuperCrew, you have a choice of 6.5- or 5.5ft cargo bed. The 5.5 bed comes with the SVT Raptor edition.
