2014 DODGE CHALLENGER: Big news for the 2014 Dodge Challenger is that every model is now available with a performance-tuned suspension, performance brake system and 20-in aluminum wheels with wider all-season performance tires. This year, the Challenger lineup starts with the SXT, SXT Plus, Rallye Redline, R/T, R/T Plus and R/T Classic trim levels. Standard 305 horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine features cold-air induction system, dual exhausts and a five-speed Auto Stick transmission. The legendary 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 delivers up to 375 horsepower. The Hemi can be matched to a six-speed manual shifter or optional five-speed automatic transmission with die-cast zinc steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters and Sport Mode. Dodge Challenger's rear-wheel-drive architecture is available in three suspension tunings and high-performing wheel and tire combinations. This includes the Super Track Pak which adds three-mode electronic stability control (ESC) and high-performance monotube shock absorbers. With spirited driving, power, seating for five, coupled with best-in-class cargo space (16.2 cubic feet), Dodge Challenger is an authentic 21st century prodigy of its iconic 1970-74 ancestry. Like all Dodge muscle cars, the ’14 Challenger offers wild exterior color choices with heritage paint tones called, TorRed, Plum Crazy, Header Orange and Redline 3 Coat. Joining those shades is Jazz Blue, Ivory Tri-coat and Phantom Black Tri-coat Pearl.
