2014 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY: The 2014 Chrysler Town & Country minivan is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the minivan as one of the leading innovators in the segment created back in late 1983. New this year is the Chrysler T&C 30th Anniversary Edition, featuring unique exterior and interior trim in addition to its already extensive list of standard equipment. The Town & Country S model brings with it the modern design cues that tie in with Chrysler 200 S and 300 S models. Chrysler Town & Country is available in the United States in three different models: the Chrysler Town & Country Touring, Town & Country S, Town & Country Touring-L and Town & Country Limited. These models provide customers exquisite innovation, abundant standard safety features and the versatility they need, all at a surprising value. Known for cargo carrying capacity, the T&C's seven-passenger cabin is available with one-touch Stow 'n Go seating and when middle and third row seats are down, there is a respectable 143.8 cubic feet of cargo carrying room. Industry-exclusive Blu-Ray player is available along with HDMI input for video game systems. All 2014 Town & Country models are equipped with a Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 283 horsepower. Performance to the front wheels comes via a six-speed automatic transmission, and when equipped with the trailer-tow prep package, the Town and Country has a 3,600 pound towing capacity. Consumers have a selection from eight exterior colors, including shades with names such as Deep Cherry Crystal Pearl Coat and Sapphire Crystal Metallic Clear Coat. With seventy-eight minivan-first innovations and 13 million minivan sales later, the 2014 Chrysler Town & Country continues its appeals to both generation X professionals with two or more kids in their household and baby boomers with no children at home.
