2014 CHRYSLER 300 SRT8: Motoring into the 2014 model year, the Chrysler 300 SRT8 sedan combines adrenaline-filled excitement with comfort and innovative features. The “Core SRT” models return with SRT Viper features for that back-to-basics performance-driving enthusiast. Under the hood of each '14 Chrysler 300 SRT8 roars the might 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine that delivers 470 horsepower and a massive 470 lb.-ft. of torque to the rear wheels. The proven five-speed automatic transmission is controlled through standard steering wheel mounted paddle shifters or the center-console mounted Auto Stick. Both methods give the driver the ability to manually select specific gears on the transmission. Incredible performance numbers like 0-60 mph acceleration in the high four-second range and top speed of 175 mph backup the vehicles "muscular" appearance. The 300 SRT8 also sports impressive stopping power - 60-0 mph in 120 feet, thanks to the 14.2 inch (front) and 13.8 inch (rear) vented/slotted rotors with four-piston Brembo calipers painted in silver finish. This modern day muscle car is fitted with fuel-saving technologhy with active valve exhaust system to deliver upwards of 23 mpg on the highway. The 300 SRT8 sits a half inch lower than not-SRT models; outfitted with black chrome upper and lower grille surrounds, rear valance strip, standard seven-spoke, 20-inch, fully forged aluminum hubs with polished face and painted sparkle silver. Around back, the rear includes a unique lower fascia with chrome accent bar, four-inch round dual exhaust tips and a modified SRT8 deck-lid badge with black accent. The racing-inspired five-passenger cabin includes a leather-wrapped, heated, SRT-exclusive steering wheel with a flattened bottom surface, real carbon fiber interior trim pieces, plus, racing style brake and gas pedal pads. Exterior colors are arranged in nine shades with names such as Jazz Blue Pearl Coat, Phantom Black Tri-coat Pearl and Deep Cherry Red Pearl Coat.
