2014 ESCALADE ESV: Hard to believe that it has been more than a decade since the luxurious Cadillac Escalade ESV debuted to provide the most spacious interior of the Escalade family. It’s 21 inches longer than Escalade and offers up to 137.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the first row, with the second folded and third row removed. Leather-trimmed, heated and cooled front bucket seats with 14-way seat adjusters are standard. The ESV offers a power fold-and-tumble second-row seat for easy access to the third-row, and a power-assisted rear liftgate that opens and closes with a touch of a button. A new exterior color, Midnight Plum Metallic, is added to the refined paint palette. The 2014 Escalade ESV, available in an intelligent all-wheel and rear-wheel drive configurations, comes powered by a 403 horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 with Active Fuel Management technology, and nicely paired with the fuel-saving Hydra-Matic six-speed automatic transmission. All Escalade models are built on GM’s full-size SUV platform, incorporating a fully boxed frame, coil-over-shock front suspension, five-link/coil-spring rear suspension and rack-and-pinion steering. Escalade comes equipped with a sophisticated cryptographic immobilizer system, PASS Key 3+, to thwart thefts. The vehicle offers Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist, XM Satellite Radio, a premium Bose sound system and a Bvlgari-designed analog clock. With all the same elements and features as the standard Escalade, the ESV model provides an additional eight-inch flip-down screen for third-row passengers.
