2014 ASTON MARTIN DB9: As timeless and elegant as its predecessors, the thoroughbred Aston Martin DB9 sports car with GT levels of comfort and refinement, is available in Coupe or Volante (convertible) models. Both variations deliver total driver involvement, luxury, and extraordinary performance. Aston Martin faced an incredible challenge to make a great design even better with the creation of this next-generation DB9. Nearly 50% of all parts and more than 70% of all body panels on the ‘14 DB9 are new, utilizing extruded bonded aluminum, magnesium alloy and composite materials. These elements have resulted in a remarkable 30% increase in rigidity and 33 pounds lighter over previous models.  The front mid-mounted engine is more potent than ever, increased to 510 horsepower from the previous 470 hp. Due to its all new 6.0-liter AM11 V-12, the ’14 model becomes the most powerful in DB9’s history. The engine is mated to the rear mid-mounted ‘Touchtronic 2’ six-speed automatic transmission with electronic shift-by-wire control system. With little effort the 2014 DB9 sprints from 0-to-60 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds, and while on the way to the governed maximum speed of 183 mph, occupants can feel the suspension stiffen and cruise to the louder exhaust notes. Halting the gorgeous vehicle is the new DB9 braking system that employs advanced carbon ceramic brakes, which feels great whatever the speed or environment. The  DB9 two-door body style offers a 2+2 cabin arrangement, using the finest Bridge of Weir leather hides, as well as a tailored 6.6 cu. ft. of luggage room. Popular accessories include a 700 watt sound system, Apple IPOD connector, USB connector with Waveform Audio, Windows Media, Bluetooth and satellite navigation. In case of inclement weather, there is a trunk-mounted umbrella.
