There were no national auto shows held in 1947. The Chicago Auto Show (CAS) went on hiatus after the 1941 show, which was held in late 1940. The CAS resumed in February 1950, becoming the first in the United States to return to the popular event that pays tribute to new automobiles and all its motorized cohorts.
