WICKSTROM AUTO GROUP CO-OWNER ELECTED TO CHICAGO AUTOMOBILE TRADE ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Richard Wickstrom joins CATA Board of Directors.
CHICAGO (June 29, 2017) – Richard Wickstrom, co-owner of Wickstrom Auto Group of Barrington, Illinois, was elected to the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) board of directors this month.
“I am truly honored to be selected to serve my fellow Chicagoland new-car dealers on the CATA board,” said Wickstrom. “It is an honor to be a part of the Chicago Auto Show and one of the greatest dealer groups in the country.”
Wickstrom, a longtime resident of the northwest suburbs, currently calls Barrington home. He began working exclusively in the auto industry in 1993 and was running day-to-day operations by 1999.
An alum of St. Viator High School, Wickstrom graduated from Northwood University. An executive on the Sigma Phi Epsilon executive board, he is also active with the Lions Club and the Barrington Chamber of Commerce.
Wickstrom is a member of Willow Creek Community Church and supports the Boys and Girls Club of Dundee Township, GiGi’s Playhouse, Advocate Good Shepard Hospital, District 220 Education Foundation, Journey Care Hospice, Barrington Children’s Charities and Barrington Youth and Family Services.
