FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHICAGO AUTO SHOW ANNOUNCES 2015 DATES: FEBRUARY 14-22
Show set to open one hour earlier each day.

CHICAGO (July , 22 2014) – The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place is pleased to announce that it will return as an official hotel for the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.  Gearing up to take over the Windy City February 14-22, the Chicago Auto Show attracts car aficionados from around the globe to get an up-close-and-personal view of the world's most spectacular automobiles, some being viewed by the media and public for the first time anywhere.

Offering spectacular city views, the 1,258-room Hyatt Regency McCormick Place is conveniently located adjacent to McCormick Place with easy access to many of Chicago's famed sights, such as the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, Millennium Park, the world-renowned museums, prominent theatres and more of the things that have made Chicago a global destination for business and leisure travelers alike.

As an official Chicago Auto Show hotel, the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place will offer exclusive rates to exhibitors starting at $155*. This rate includes premium Internet access, daily newspaper delivery, complimentary pool and health club access and, of course, direct indoor access to the McCormick Place Convention Center.

For show attendees, the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place will offer a special auto show package including a discounted room rate, premium WiFi, free show tickets to the 2015 Chicago Auto Show and complimentary pool and health club access. Auto show package rates start as low at $174.

“We are very excited to partner with the Chicago Auto Show for a second year” said Hyatt Regency McCormick Place General Manager Paul Daly.  “The show is a great tradition for the city, and we are proud to be a part of this historic event.”

John Webb, 2015 Chicago Auto Show chairman, shares the excitement.

"Not only is the Hyatt one of our city's premier hotels, but close proximity and excellent amenities and room offerings  make it the perfect choice as a HQ hotel for the nation’s largest show," said Webb.  "We're glad to be working with the Hyatt and look forward to working together for many years to come. Signing a long-term deal helps significantly lower room rates for our exhibitors and attendees."

Showcasing nearly 1,000 domestic and imported vehicles and auto-related exhibitors, the Chicago Auto Show is a must-see attraction for travelers and local community alike.  Each year the show utilizes more than 1 million square feet of the McCormick Place complex and features production, concept, competition, specialty and one-of-a-kind vehicles.  The show's media preview will be open to the press Feb. 12 – 13, and the show’s First Look for Charity will be Feb. 13 from 7 – 11 p.m.

The auto show package rate is available on Hyatt Regency McCormick Place’s website with Special Offer Code AUTO15.

*Rates are based on availability, double occupancy and do not include tax or services.  Reservations must be booked in advance and cannot be combined with any other offer.
