Connected World Magazine Announces Internet of Things Is Dead as Part of Mega Trends Forecast during 2014 Chicago Auto Show
Chicago, IL Feb. 6, 2014: “Put a fork in the Internet of Things because it’s done,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Connected World Magazine, as part of her Mega Trends Forecast to be released during the Chicago Auto Show. The announcement will be delivered to the media on Friday, February 7, at 10:50 a.m. in the Connected World Conference Pavilion, found in the South Hall of the Chicago Auto Show in McCormick Place.
The Mega Trends Forecast involves connected devices, communications, carriers, networks, technology companies, and businesses and consumers who increasingly rely on this cyber ecosphere. Smedley’s Connected World magazine has been covering this space since 2003. M2M, her formerly published magazine, covered the business-to-business side of sensor and software driven machine-to-machine technology.
