2014 Connected World Awards’ Finalists Demonstrate Latest
Internet of Things Innovations
Chicago, IL January 10, 2014: The latest innovations in the Internet of Things including building automation, consumer electronics, healthcare, location-based services, security, retail, utilities, and more have been selected for the annual Connected World Awards. The winning companies will be honored with a formal gala on February 13 during the 2014 Connected World Conference in February. The Connected World Awards honor the companies that have successfully leveraged M2M in order to solve a critical pain point within their business, all with quantifiable results. The Connected World Conference, February 8-17, is co-located within the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.
Successful finalists have combined multiple technologies, such as device, connectivity, hardware, radio modules, network service and provisioning, as well as application software and infrastructure, to create a winning solution; this is often referred to as the value chain.
